If you were to purchase a Telkee Lockable Cabinet, there are several choices of locking options for you to choose from, depending on your needs and requirements, and the level of security that you want included in your secure cabinets. Let us look at each of the locking options in order for you to make an informed decision.
Standard Cam Lock: This is the standard lock that comes with the products made available at Telkee Lockable Cabinets and is included in the pricing as well. Each of these locks comes with two keys, where one will act as the master, and the other, the duplicate, or reserve key.
Mechanical Key Pad & Manager Override Lock: A keyless entry option with a lock and key override feature provided for the managers, this locking option for secure cabinets is quite popular. It comes with 4 or 6 digit combination that can be changed, as well as due to the fact that it is mechanical, you need not use batteries nor do you need maintenance on it. A 3-point locking system can be added to this system, which does not include the manager override locking feature, which is actually a cam lock. This security feature is made available to all cabinets except the 347/35 hook model.
3-Digit Combo Lock: This 3-digit combo lock comes with a 3 digit changeable combination, and a standard cam lock mechanism. It is also mechanical, and therefore does not require battery nor maintenance and is the least expensive keyless solution which is available for all cabinets.
High Security Safe Lock: This is the perfect solution for a high security high volume keyless entry requirement and holds the most features for security compared to the others with administration features embedded within. These include the likes of downloaded audit trail with a time stamp (in order to keep track of who has used), a lockdown and time-lock capacity, 3-point locking system and high capacity battery pack (which are available as an optional add-ons). It comes in two models, being the 8 user and 30 user models. This is available with 530, 686 and 686L models, but reduces the panel capacity by one panel.
3-Point Locking System: This locking mechanism is made available to models with either a mechanical keypad or high security safe lock only, that is, for models 530, 686 and 686L. It increases its security efficiency with a distinct 3 locking points.
Bi-Lock Cam Lock: With a quick release barrel for re-keying, this cam lock has a 12 tumbler, restricted keying system.
